Parent Partnership |
Parent Partnership We consider partnership with parents to be vitally important in ensuring that children achieve their fullest potential. This belief is reflected in our daily practice and is highlighted in the following. · Termly newsletter, which outlines dates, events and general school news. · Individual letters regarding trips, events in and out of school, meetings, fundraising events etc. · The views of parents are sought annually in various year groups by questionnaire. · Parent/Teacher meetings in Terms 1 and 2 with a written report in Term Three. · Children's workbooks are sent home once per half term, thus keeping parents informed of children's work on an ongoing basis. · Parent Information Evenings for all year groups which outline teaching methods used in numeracy and literacy as well as highlighting ways in which parents can support their children's learning at home. Help sheets are available at these events. |
